Henrik's first big ouchie!

Today Henrik did a face plant on to a tile floor at a friend's house. We were sitting on the floor, Henrik on my lap, and he dove after a toy. Splat! right on the floor. He tried to be brave, but the pain won out. He started crying , grabbed me and held on tight.

A busted lip sure does bleed a lot. :( My friend got him a few ice cubes in a mesh feeder (genius! I would not of thought of that) and he loved it. Her daughter wanted one too! After what felt like an hour, his lip stopped bleeding. It's big and swollen with teeth scrapes on the bottom and teeth indentations on his upper lip.

Idag föll Henrik på kakelgolvet hos en kompis. Vi satt på golvet, Henrik i mitt knä, och han dök framåt efter en leksak. Pang ner i golvet. Han försökte vara modig, men smärtan vann -- han började gråta och höll i mig hårt.

En trasig läpp blöder rejält! :( Min kompis tog fram ett par isbitar som han fick suga på i en nätpåse (genialt! jag hade inte kommit på det själv), oh det hjälpte. Hennes dotter ville också ha en isbit! Efter vad verkade vara en timme så slutade det blöda. Läppen är svullen och han har tandmärken både uppe och nere.

Det syns inte så väl på bilderna nedan, men det syns lite i alla fall.
